# Where does my website build stand, and how do I review or approve it before launch?

## Check your build's status and preview it inside Website Builder. Review pages, photos, copy, and mobile layout there, request any edits, and don't publish until you're fully happy. You control when it goes live.

Use this page to check your website build, review the preview, request changes, and approve the site before launch.

 

Guided website build statuses

 

If the Mallard Bay website service is building your site with you, these statuses show where the project stands:

 

1\. Content received: Your requested content and assets are available for the build.

2\. Draft in progress: The team is assembling pages, content, and design.

3\. Ready for review: A preview is available for your review.

4\. Changes requested: Your feedback is being applied.

5\. Approved: You have reviewed the site and approved it for launch.

6\. Domain connected: The approved site is connected to its domain.

7\. Live: The site is published and available to visitors.

 

Self serve review

 

Open Website Builder and preview the site. Review the pages and request edits through support if needed. When the site is ready and approved, select Publish.

 

Review checklist before you approve

 

1\. Pages: Confirm that every needed page is present and the navigation is clear.

2\. Photos: Check that photos are correct, sharp, and placed on the right pages.

3\. Contact details: Confirm the phone number, email address, and calls to action.

4\. Booking buttons: Test each booking button and confirm it goes to the right destination.

5\. Mobile layout: Review the site on a phone and check spacing, text, images, and buttons.

6\. Forms: Submit each form and confirm the destination and notifications work.

7\. Policy pages: Confirm the privacy, terms, cancellation, and other required policy pages are present and accurate.

 

Do not publish or go live, and do not point DNS to the site, until you have approved the complete review. If you need help, contact your onboarding contact or support rather than assuming a default point of contact.
