# What does the Mallard Bay website service include (domain, hosting, SEO, and email)?

## Website builder and site build. Mallard Bay can build your website or provide Website Builder tools, depending on your package. A guided Mallard Bay website service build includes a draft for your review and approval before launch. With a self serve package, use Website Builder in your dashboard.

Hosting

Custom domain hosting is included when your account includes the website service. If your plan does not include it, you will see an upgrade or support prompt. The software ladder is Basics, Foundations at $199, Growth at $399, and Custom.

 

Custom domain and DNS

You usually keep your registrar. After approval, point your DNS to Mallard Bay. Do not cancel your old host until DNS and email are clarified.

 

SEO

Basic site structure and SEO hygiene may come with the site. Full SEO, paid ads, and social management are not automatic with every plan. Those are scoped Mallard Bay marketing services. See the Mallard Bay marketing service article for what that work can include.

 

Email

Mallard Bay is not your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inbox. Keep business email at Google or Microsoft. You may connect a custom email domain for outgoing Mallard Bay guest messages.
