In this video, we will walk through using Feedback Mode through our website builder so you can leave website edits directly through the dashboard for our team to make to your website!
Overview
We’ve made it easier than ever to submit website edits with our new Feedback Mode feature. If your website is built inside the Mallard Bay dashboard, you can now leave feedback and request changes directly on your website without needing to contact your account manager.
You can still reach out to your Account Manager, but this tool gives you flexibility to make requests as you spot them.
How to Access Feedback Mode

Log into your Mallard Bay Dashboard.

Navigate to the Website Builder.

In the bottom-right corner, click “Enter Feedback Mode.”
Once you’re in Feedback Mode, the screen will shift to a special view with edit/commenting capabilities.
How to Leave Feedback on Your Website

Navigate to the page where you want to make an edit.

Use the page dropdown at the top to switch between homepage, about, packages, etc.

Click directly on the element (image, text, button, etc.) that you want to edit.

A comment box will appear.

Type your request (e.g., “Change this image to the updated duck camp photo”).

Use
@to tag the Mallard Bay Website Team for clarity or follow-up. -
Click the paperclip icon to upload images or files to accompany your request.

Managing Feedback

Once a comment is submitted:

The Mallard Bay team will be notified automatically.

They will review your feedback and apply changes as needed.

If they need clarification, they can tag you back on the edit or leave a reply.

You can:

Resolve comments when the edit is complete.

Delete comments if they were made in error or need to be reworded.

Be specific in your comments to speed up the edit process.

Use the paperclip to upload high-res versions of any new images or logos.

Use tagging to ensure the right person on the team sees your request.
