How Does Add-On Pricing Work?

Add-ons provide Outfitters with the flexibility to customize sportsmen's trips to meet their specific needs. This article, shows you how different pricing structures work.

Flat Rate Pricing

Flat rate pricing is straightforward. When you update the quantity of an add-on, the total cost will automatically adjust. For example, if you want to add an "Additional night of lodging," simply increase the quantity based on the number of nights or lodges needed for your group.

Pricing Per Day

For add-ons priced per day, the total cost is calculated based on the number of days booked and the quantity selected. For example, if your party has 5 guests on a 2-day trip, and 3 guests want to purchase the "Shotgun Rental" add-on, set the quantity to 3. The cart will update to reflect $150 x 2 days x 3 guests.

Pricing Per Guest

For add-ons priced per guest, the total cost is calculated based on the number of guests and the quantity selected. For example, if you have 4 guests in your party and want to add an "Afternoon Prairie Dog Hunt" for 1 afternoon during a 3-day trip, set the quantity to 1. The cart will update to show $100 x 4 guests x 1 day.

Pricing Per Day and Guest

This pricing model calculates the total cost based on the number of guests, days booked, and the quantity selected. Typically, you'll only need to set this quantity to 1. For example, if you have 2 guests on a 2-day trip and want to add a "Breakfast Buffet," set the quantity to 1. The cart will update to show $40 x 2 guests x 2 days x 1 quantity.
