In this article, we’ll walk you through how to log a new booking from your dashboard, ensuring your calendar stays up to date and all reservations are properly recorded.
Keeping your calendar accurate is essential for managing your business efficiently. Logging bookings manually allows you to capture reservations from customers who prefer not to book through the website while still ensuring their payment is processed securely. By adding bookings directly from the dashboard, you can maintain a clear schedule, prevent double bookings, and streamline your payment collection process.
Step 1: Add a booking from your dashboard
There are two options for adding a new booking:

Either go in to your calendar. Click the "plus sign" on the date accurate for your booking. Then select the listing that you would like to add the booking for. Click continue.

Or click in to "bookings" on the left side menu, and select "Create bookings". Then select the listing that you would like to add the booking for. Click continue.
Step 2: Listing and Customer details
- Select the listing that the sportsmen would like to visit.
- Add the customers first name, last name, phone number and email (optional). Click "continue".
Step 3: Select dates
- Select the appropriate dates for your booking.
Step 4: Package
- You have the option to select from your listed packages, or you can customize an existing package or create a new package on the fly.
Step 5: Guests & Add-ons
- Select the number of guests for the booking you are creating.
- You have the option to select from your listed add-ons, or you can customize an existing package or create a new package on the fly.
Step 6: Payment details
- Choose if you want Mallard Bay to collect the payment or not. By selecting this, it will allow you to enter credit card details or indicate if you are collecting payment in another way at a later date.
- You will also have the option to indicate if this is a group booking and indicate if you would like to allow the sportsmen to pay with a payment plan.
- Click "Create Booking"
