# Do you offer trip insurance?

## Yes — through our trusted partner, Vertical Insure.

We now offer Refund Protection to help protect your adventure from the unexpected.

You can add this optional coverage during checkout when booking a trip, and even after your booking has been completed.

### What is Refund Protection?

Plans can change in an instant — whether it’s an illness, injury, or family emergency.

Unfortunately, most trips are non-refundable, which means cancelling can cost you. Refund Protection gives you peace of mind by **reimbursing up to 100% of your non-refundable fees** if you're unable to attend for a covered reason.

It’s a simple, affordable way to protect your next adventure.

### How it works

- Add Refund Protection at checkout or after purchase
- If you need to cancel for a covered reason, visit [customers.vicoverage.com](https://customers.vicoverage.com) to request a refund
- Get reimbursed for up to 100% of your non-refundable fees

### What’s covered?

- **Illness or Injury** – Advised by a doctor not to attend
- **Family Emergency** – A family member is hospitalized or needs unexpected care
- **Car Breakdown** – Prevents you from arriving
- **Job Loss or Relocation** – You or your spouse lose a long-term job or relocate 100+ miles
- **Emergency Service Duty** – Called into active duty as military, police, fire personnel, or first responder
- **Pregnancy or Adoption** – A new child is placed in your care or pregnancy prevents safe travel
- **Home Emergency** – Flood, burglary, or natural disaster makes your home uninhabitable

### What’s *not* covered?

- Pre-existing medical issues (within the last 90 days)
- Personal schedule conflicts
- Foreseeable events known at the time of booking
